On the 5 Days Uganda Rwanda Safari, you will visit Bwindi Impenetrable Park in Uganda which is home to Mountain Gorillas.
The Park lies in southwestern Uganda on the edge of the Rift Valley. Its mist-covered hillsides are blanketed by one of Uganda’s oldest and most biologically diverse rain forests.
It protects an estimated 400 mountain gorillas roughly half of the world’s population. You will also visit Akagera National Park in Rwanda and will enjoy a game drive and a boat ride.

Detailed 5 Days Uganda Rwanda Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will be picked from Kigali International Airport or from your hotel and will be given instructions about the trip. You will then be transferred by road to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, southwestern of Uganda for tracking of mountain gorillas.
Dinner and overnight stay at Mahogany Springs (Luxury), Buhoma Community Haven (Midrange)
Day 2: Gorilla tracking
You will assemble at the park headquarters for briefing from the park rangers after breakfast ahead of gorilla trekking. You will then proceed for gorilla trekking in the forest that may last 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the animals.
You will meet and stay with the gorillas for a maximum of one hour, then descend to the park headquarters and then to your Lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the evening, you may go for an optional community walk in the nearby Batwa community, where you will be entertained and given tales of their unique culture.

Day 3: Transfer to Akagera National Park
Today after breakfast, you will be transferred to Akagera National Park in Rwanda. It’s the only National Park where wildlife viewing can be done in Rwanda. You will enjoy a game drive through the park in search of zebras, giraffes, elephants and many more animals. You will arrive at Akagera game lodge in the afternoon and will rest at the lodge.

Day 4: Game Drives in Akagera National Park
After breakfast, you will start the day with a morning game drive through the park in search of lions, Elephants, Buffalos, Masai Giraffe and many others.
You will return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon you will enjoy a boat-ride on Lake Ihema. You will enjoy the sundowns at the lodge in the evening.

Day 5: Transfer to Kigali
You will be transferred back to Kigali after breakfast with an optional city tour.

We have luxury latest Land cruisers each driven by professionally trained driver guides and fuel. They have pop-up roofs for proper game viewing and photography. They come with a small fridge for cooling your drinking water while on safari (which is always included while In the Vehicle).
